The best things I value about beliefs are that once you believe something, it becomes your reality. If you said to yourself, everyday, "Women just want to use me for sex". How long do you think it'll take before you actually believe it? Next thing you know, your reality is full of beautiful women who only want to use you for sex.

Another great thing is, it sets the groundwork for your whole identity. If you believe you're a real man who's valued immensily by women, you will be and your identity will shift to match. Believe something hard enough and your mind will seek out through your reticular activating system and find evidence for your beliefs until fully accepted as reality.
